After 5 papers linked to the NutriAging project in 2021 another 2 paper were published in 2022 in Top journals. Further papers are submitted.

This year was busy with analysis in the lab and data generation.

However, two important papers of the protein study were published.

Sandra was able to publish as first author the paper entiteled Effects of an increased habitual dietary protein intake followed by resistance training on fitness, muscle quality and body composition of seniors: A randomised controlled trial in Clinical Nutrition.

Billy finished the subproject on proteomics, which was performed together with Christopher Gerner and Andrea Bileck of the Department of Analytical Chemistry and was able to publish it in Frontiers in Frontiers in Nutrition: The plasma proteome is favorably modified by a high protein diet but not by additional resistance training in older adults: A 17-week randomized controlled trial.
